TLOD, Inc. Prepares for TLOD Early Voting Day
Published on: 10/21/2021
We believe Americans should have more options to vote and time off in order to vote so they don’t have to choose between a paycheck and casting their ballot. In 2020, 46 states and the District of Columbia offered at least some opportunity for voters to cast their ballot early in person ahead of the designated Election Day, but the absence of a national standard means that some states have few or inconsistent early voting hours which can directly impact hourly workers, parents without childcare, and the disability community. Ladies, we are encouraging you to vote early for TLOD Early Voting Day! We encourage ALL TLOD Women to Early Vote on October 25, 2021.

September is National Preparedness Month
Published on: 9/1/2021
September is National Preparedness Month, and TLOD is committed to helping our members, chapters and communities across the country increase awareness around preparedness. This year, while battling the hurricanes in the Texas and Louisiana areas, the continued COVID pandemic and California wildfires, all of us have had to respond in some form or fashion to protect ourselves and families.

National Preparedness Month is an observance each September to raise awareness about the importance of preparing for disasters and emergencies that could happen at any time. The 2021 theme is “Prepare to Protect. Preparing for disasters is protecting everyone you love.”
