National Area V Director Marsha Wells

Greetings and thank you for visiting the Area V website!

I am Lady Marsha Wells and I greet you on behalf of the members of Area V Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. and Top Teens of America who represent chapters within the states of Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania (West), Kentucky and West Virginia. The chapters in Area V are Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Detroit, Greater Cleveland, Indianapolis, Michigan Metro, Pittsburgh Steel City, Renaissance, Saginaw, Southfield and Toledo.

Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. was chartered in Tyler Texas in 1964 as a non-profit educational, humanitarian organization with the focus on bringing community service minded women together to mentor our youth, known as Top Teens of America, into leaders of tomorrow, improve the status of women and the lives of senior citizens, contribute to community beautification, and expand our initiatives through community partnerships.  We support the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), United Negro College Fund (UNCF), Sickle Cell Association, Literacy, March of Dimes and St. Jude hospitals.

The Top Ladies of Area V come from many walks of life and professions, and we serve our communities together with our Top Teens. After our Top Teens graduate from high school, many matriculate to attend college and have successful careers.

The Area V theme is Area V Is All The Way L.I.V.E Leading-Impacting-Volunteering-Empowering. It is a catchy phrase coined by Lady Velda Hunter of the Detroit Chapter to recognize the energy and excitement when referring to the Top Ladies and Top Teens in Area V. Our Members are engaged, the Area is growing, and our Chapters are thriving. We’re moving forward to developing the next generation of this organization and its leaders.

It is an honor to serve as the 15th National Area V Director of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. and the Top Teens of America and I thank you for visiting this website. If you have additional questions or need more information about our organization, please send an email to areavdirector15@gmail.com.

Yours in Service,
Lady Marsha Wells

National Area V Director

Area V TTA President Dha'Mario Peterson

Hello, Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc, Lords and my fellow Top Teen colleagues.

I begin with a word, according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary the word "Opportunity" can be defined as "A good chance for advancement or progress". I fully believe that the organization of Top Teens can also be called an opportunity. I am Teen Dha'Mario W. Peterson and it is my honor to bring greetings from Area V " Where We Keep It All the Way Live ". Please grant me your eyes as I come forth with my goals.

For the past 5 years, I've been partnered with a camp called the "Math Corps". There one can find ways to enhance their critical thinking skills and also work and befriend diverse groups of people. That opportunity has now given me the chance to use my learned lessons and share them throughout the organization to better ourselves. That experience has given me the opportunity to be in front of you all today, whether it be through screen or in person, it's an honor.

Top Teens is a fun and amazing organization that provides enriching experiences, culture and interpersonal development as well as educational advancements. Our motto is "participation is our foundation as leaders of tomorrow".

I am honored and grateful to be elected and serve as the Area V TTA President for the 2023-2025 term. My goal is to bring in more  members, support my fellow teens and see the organization grow and flourish. Most importantly I want everyone to have a voice and hear themselves.

Please stay safe and courageous.

Teen Dha'Mario Peterson
