It is my distinct honor to invite you to the 38th Area IV Leadership Conference, hosted by the Bryan-Liberty Counties and Effingham chapters February 13-16, 2020. The conference will take place in the historic, seaport, hostess city of Savannah, GA, where art, period architecture, trendy boutiques, cobblestone streets, Savannah State University and First African Church are all set under a veil of Spanish moss!
I am humble to have the opportunity to serve you as your 12th National Area IV Director. I have been afforded the opportunity to observe, plan and walk in the shoes of my predecessors. Their foundation has enabled us to follow the Area IV theme: Moving Forward, Making a Difference, Honoring our legacy, and Shaping the Future in TLOD & TTA.
During the 38th Area IV Leadership Conference, we will move forward with the initiatives set forth by our TLOD National President, Lady Sharon J. Beard and embrace the national theme: Celebrating our Legacy: Transforming Lives and Making a difference... One Teen, One Lady and One Community at a Time (TLC). You will have the opportunity to attend plenary sessions, workshops, a wellness celebration that includes a 3k Heart & Sole Walk, a literacy pancake breakfast, and a masquerade ball just to name a few. Our Top Teens will participate in a workshop led by Usher's New Look Foundation, and the Lords will receive golf lessons from a PGA instructor. Please view the conference agenda for the full schedule of events.
I would like to thank in advance the hardworking Ladies, Lords and Teens of the Bryan-Liberty Counties Chapter, Effingham Chapter and the Area IV Executive Board team for planning a conference with learning experiences that will be informative, productive, and enjoyable. I encourage you to take advantage of the wealth of information and tools you will receive, and use this knowledge to develop and advance the services your chapter provides within your prospective communities.
It is my prayer and hope that you leave the conference invigorated and ready to serve youth and adults.; while encompassing the goals of Area IV by Moving Forward to Lead, Moving Forward to Inspire, Moving Forward to Serve, and Moving Forward Together.
Yours in Service,
Lady Adrienne Boner
National Area IV Director
